The collaboration between .Elmar and Giovanni Botticelli stems from a shared approach to work: designing through materiality, detail, and customisation. Giovanni Botticelli’s reflective surfaces meet Elmar’s environments, creating compositions where every element is conceived in relation to the space, transforming the reflection into an integral part of the design.

Giovanni Botticelli’s wall and floor mirror-sculptures enter into dialogue with Elmar’s surfaces, volumes, and materials. The glass surfaces decompose and recompose the reflections of the surrounding environment, turning reflection into an active instrument for interpreting space. This is not mere juxtaposition: each piece functions as a design element in its own right — a device that rewrites the perception of the environment it inhabits.

Giovanni Botticelli Studio’s research centres on float glass and mirror as instruments of chromatic and spatial composition.
